About Philippa

Phillipa is a natural communicator with business acumen and technical capabilities combined. As an indispensable part of the Planning & Permitting team, Philippa engages in all aspects of environmental assessment, she has solid experience in leading Environmental Impact Assessment projects, and in guiding clients to completing application for the Countryside Stewardship Schemes and Sustainable Farming Incentives.

Philippa has a passion for creating technical yet sustainable environmental solutions. Along with her colleagues, she works to help Wiser’ partners to obtain relevant environmental permits for their projects.

Environmental Impact Assessment

Philippa led Environmental Impact Assessment projects as an integral part of property valuation. She assisted with valuations in property sales, viewings and stock takes by using land applications. Going further, Philippa dedicated a large part of her work to communicating the advantages of sustainable constructions. She promoted evidence-based methods to align economic return with environmental and social performance of property assets.

Philippa also employed her expertise to support farmers, foresters and land managers in completing applications for Countryside Stewardship Schemes and Sustainable Farming. Her service enabled them to ultimately acquire the grant from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, Forestry Commission.

Drawing from her experience, Philippa generated a detailed Management System Summary (MSS) that extends to all operations associated with waste management procedures at Direct Motor Spares Ltd. Our client provides recovery and repair services for accident damaged vehicles. This entails separating repairable vehicles from waste vehicles that should be dismantled for spare parts.

Philippa’s practical advices enhance the operation team’s capacity to systemise processes, control costs and losses and ensure compliance. With a growth mindset, she also gives Direct Motor Spares actionable pointers in forecasting risks and enforcing best sustainable practices.
